Welcome to Grismold's Dispensary. We have the finest selection of "herbs" provided by our dedicated team of Budtenders. So sit back, pack a bowl, put your feet up, and let Grizzy take care of you baby birds. Remember, plants are your friends. Enjoy the puns!

The deck mainly works with Grismold, the Dreadsower at the helm. With his green-thumb, Grizzy can overwhelm opponents pretty quickly. 1vs1 he is already dangerous, but the more opponents in group play, the better.

I actually pulled Grismold, the Dreadsower out of the Commander 2019 Sultai Morph deck. He didn't seem to fit with the "mold" of the deck once I was done tweaking it. This deck originally started as a manifest-hybrid deck but was too slow. Hooded Hydra is the last one standing after all the revisions. I wanted to keep with theme on this deck since the running joke when I first ran it with my play group was that I was everyone's Pot dealer just "dealing" out my 'plants" at the end of every turn. This evolved into what it is now.

Grismold, the Dreadsower is the most dangerous piece on the board. Though I'm not a fan of Voltron and this deck doesn't focus entirely on it, Grizzy can easily deal lethal commander Damage by turns 4-5.

Blade of the Bloodchief + Hardened Scales great for pumping grizzy for commander damage.

Swiftfoot Boots and Lightning Greaves included to protect THE PLANT MAN.

Skullclamp, Deathreap Ritual and Moldervine Reclamation are the best pieces of card draw, but the deck is littered with different draw mechanics along the way.

Golgari Charm , Plague Engineer , Languish all great synergy pieces to wipe the board while giving value on our end. There's nothing more satisfying than watching your opponent set up hexproof, indestructible, protection, or regenerate on their feeble creatures just to lose them to SBA at the end of the day.

Avenger of Zendikar + Grismold, the Dreadsower the Cheech and Chong Combo of the deck.

Retribution of the Ancients an extremely cheap way to knock off bigger threats when we have Grismold nice and high

Overwhelming Stampede Great Alpha-Strike card to seal a swing FTW.

Reclamation Sage, Plague Engineer, Noxious Gearhulk Though these seem clunky and pricey, this deck runs mainly creature based tutors: Evolutionary Leap (by far my favorite combo piece); Eldritch Evolution; Chord of Calling. Because of this, having creatures that we can fetch on a dime is important for sticky situations.

Revel in Riches Wincon if played with Mosswart bridge before your turn or just if it survives a round. If nothing more, excellent ramp that pays for itself

Chevill, Bane of Monsters Newest deck addition and a killer card from the new set. Looking into Fiend Artisan but not willing to dish on that price-point right now.
