Tasigur fast combo ft. Eldritch Evolution.

Motivation

Tasigur with Eldritch Evolution is a powerful interaction with Razaketh and Hulk in the deck.

Tasigur also allows for slot-efficient backup win conditions that do not rely on useless cards like Laboratory Maniac. If we lose Walking Ballista (which is unfortunately necessary to win at instant speed off of a Flash), our backup plan is to loop Collective Brutality with Tasigur, which doubles as a powerful discard outlet and disruption spell.

Hermit Druid, Nooze/Buried Alive, Hulk, and Razaketh lines all share many cards, allowing for a fast and flexible layered combo approach. Many of these packages are nearly free: for example, when playing Razaketh, the core Nooze pieces of Devoted Druid, Apprentice Necromancer, and the Nooze himself are all useful for the Razaketh gameplan (Devoted Druid being a decent dork, Necromancer and Nooze being decent reanimation spells for Razaketh in a pinch). The Nooze package also serves as a powerful Dread Return target for the Druid line. Razaketh works wonders at assembling other efficient combos like Flash + Hulk, and both Hermit Druid and Nooze create powerful Hull lines. In short, I believe that this layered package of win conditions lends itself to blisteringly fast wins with comparatively few dead cards.

Oh, and Volrath's Shapeshifter is good with that Survival of the Fittest card.

Druid Line

• Mill Narcomoeba and Fatestitcher off of Druid, unearth Fatestitcher.
• Flashback Dread Return targeting Nooze.
• Use Wall of Roots' ability to make one mana, use the mana to activate Blighted Bat's ability.
• Make infinite Mana by looping Nooze and Apprentice Necromancer.
• Win with Walking Ballista abilities on Nooze.

Hulk Line (with Druid)

• Hulk for Mogis's Marauder, Hermit Druid, Deathrite, and Dryad Arbor.
• Give Dryad Arbor and Hermit Druid haste.
• Use Dryad Arbor to pay for Hermit Druid's ability, win with the Druid line above.

Hulk Line (no Druid)

• Hulk for Phyrexian Delver, Viscera Seer, Walking Ballista, and Dryad Arbor.
• Phyrexian Delver brings back Hulk.
• Sacrifice Hulk for Volrath's Shapeshifter, Phantasmal Image, and Birds of Paradise.
• Phantasmal Image enters as a copy of Phyrexian Delver, Delver ETB trigger goes on the stack targeting Hulk.
• In response, sacrifice Volrath's Shapeshifter (which is Hulk) fetching Necrotic Ooze and Apprentice Necromancer.
• Phyrexian Delver ETB trigger resolves returning Hulk.
• Sacrifice Hulk to get Devoted Druid, Mogis's Marauder, and a dork.
• Mogis's Marauder gives at least five creatures haste.
• Give at least Necrotic Ooze, Apprentice Necromancer, Birds of Paradise, and Devoted Druid haste (maybe the other dorks too if you need it).
• Tap Devoted Druid and your dorks to make a bunch of mana if you want (not really necessary).
• Tap Birds of Paradise to make one black mana.
• Sacrifice Devoted Druid and Birds of Paradise.
• Activate Apprentice Necromancer using the floating black mana targeting Hulk.
• Sacrifice Hulk fetching Wall of Roots and maybe some random other stuff depending on the game.
• Sacrifice Wall of Roots.
• Loop Nooze and Apprentice Necromancer to make infinite green mana, win the game with Walking Ballista's abilities.

Ideas

• Chord of Calling
• Natural Order with more removal that kills Hulk (Pongify and Vendetta).
• Reconsider Channeler Initiate if people don't understand the rules
• Ad Naus to die to Jin every game (this seems like a bad idea, we are very life intensive).
• Crop Rotation package, kill with Rotation, Noxious Revival, and Sunscorched Desert.
• Windfall
• Even more fast Mana? Still could run more rituals and maybe Wild Growth.
• Eternal Witness
• Memory's Journey for some gravehate and to not just lose sometimes when disrupted.
