Maybeboard

This deck will revolve around a human tribal aristocrat style of play. I want it to reflect human civilization and all the filth that revolves it (Thus the name of this deck Greed, Envy and Money).

At First I wanted the deck to be playable by either Silvar, Devourer of the Free/Trynn, Champion of Freedom or by Queen Marchesa (Long may she reign). Tried it with Marchesa at the helm and it didn’t work that well.

With that being said, the commanders of this deck are Silvar, Devourer of the Free and Trynn, Champion of Freedom. Kind of contradictory don’t you think? Some decks have a secret commander. Well, Greed, Envy and Money has a secret partner commander : Alesha, Who Smiles at Death! Devourer the humans, reanimate the bodies and feed the beast again is the direction of this deck.

The aristocrat strategy behind this mindset is accomplished mainly :

Through sacrificing creature and taking advantage of aristocrat cards effects like :

1) Blood Artist

2) Teysa Karlov

3) Zulaport Cutthroat

4) Bastion of Remembrance

5) Athreos God of Passage, etc.

6) Syr Konrad, the Grim

Using reanimation effects :

1) Alesha, Who Smiles at Death

2) Angel of Glory’s Rise

3) Athreos, God of Passage (sort of reanimation)

4) Chainer, Nightmare Adept

5) Garna, the Bloodflame

6) Gerrard, Weatherlight Hero

7) Cauldron of Souls (Persist)

8) Doomed Necromancer

9) Phyrexian Reclamation

10) Faith’s Reward

To bring back some meat for Silvar as well as taking advantage of « Enter the battlefield » effects:

1) Disciple of Bolas

2) Fiend Hunter

3) Garna, the Bloodflame

4) General Kudro of Drannith

5) Knight of the White Orchid

6) Recruiter of the Guard

More meat is created via these human token makers :

1) Trynn, Champion of Freedom

2) Hanweir Garrison

3) Hanweir Militia Captain

4) Call the Coppercoats

5) Increasing Devotion

6) Molten Echoes

Since Silvar gets bigger through chompin’ through all these humans a possible wincon is through commander damage by making him unblockable with :

1) Mother of Runes

2) Rogue’s Passage

3) Shizo, Death’s Storehouse

4) Boros Charm (acts as a double strike surprise)

Obvious game changers :

1) Exsanguinate

2) Torment of Hailfire

*Please note that these could be changed to include more boardwipe in the future swapping for Wrath of God and Damnation.

That pretty much sums it up! Please let me know what you think about this deck and feel free to suggest any cards that you think that I might’ve overlooked!
