Instant (4)

Sorcery (1)

When I first saw this combo, I fell in love with it. The deck is pretty consistent pulls off some crazy wins on turn 2 sometimes. My friends fear the infamous Pili-Pala, and usually hate to play against me. IMO, it's better then Splinter Twin Combo decks because its like 1/4 of the price, but is way more fun!!! After all, Pili-Pala really wasn't expected to fly...

PRIMER:

Le Mana Base:

13x Island

4x Gemstone Caverns

1x Faerie Conclave

It started out as 20 islands; I always wanted to have a simple, cheap and consistent mana base. Its actually a strategical anti-intimidation-confidence-booster for my opponents (13x M14 islands) to make them think my deck sucks! (JK, I'm just too cheap for Zendi's...) I dropped the land count to 18 after further testing and because I needed more spells for Delver.

The playset of Gemstone Caverns was an amazing idea I had that made it possible to win a turn quicker without screwing up my mana base too much. It makes me take the draw, always, but starting with it on the field allows me to cast 1-drop instants before my first turn, which means I can just Spell Pierce a turn 1 Thoughtseize

Faerie Conclave combos nicely with Grand Architect and is good for the turns where I don't have anything else to do.

Le Dudes:

1x Spellskite

Man, you the real MVP. Shoutout to my homie Spellskite for always taking one (or many) for the team (Pili-Pala). This card is truly amazing, especially if I can jam him on turn one if I need to. He's so good against a variety of decks in the meta.

4x Delver of Secrets

He's the perfect alt-win con and poses a real threat that can be dangerous if unanswered.

1x Kira, Great Glass-Spinner

Very good at protecting my dudes and getting in for two. As Doge would say, "Such tempo, much flying".

Le Combo

4x Grand Architect

4x Pili-Pala

How the combo works:1) - Get both of these on the field.2) - Make Pili-Pala blue w/ Grand Architect's second ability (If you attack with Pili-Pala you can tap the Grand Architect for 2 colorless with its first ability to untap Pili-Pala with its own ability to make a blue, which you can use to pay for Grand Architect's second ability).3) - Tap Pili-Pala for 2 colorless with Grand Architect's first ability.4) - Untap Pili-Pala with the 2 colorless mana, creating 1 mana of any color.5) - Repeat steps 3 and 4 until you are satisfied.6) - Cast one of your win conditions.

Le Win Cons

2x Blue Sun's Zenith

1x Exsanguinate

3x Muddle the Mixture

The Blue Sun's Zenith's kill instantly without dealing with damage or being stopped by the big Eldrazi's anti-mill ability.

Exsanguinate gets around Leyline of Sanctity and some other similar things like Spellskite or any damage prevention. Also works wonders in multiplayer. Can be transmuted for with Muddle the Mixture, making Muddle the Mixture a pseudo-win con.

Le Filters and Diggers

4x Serum Visions

4x Gitaxian Probe

The Visions are great. They do their job well.

The Probes dig for free, and allow me to see their hand to make sure I can combo off. Very key card in the deck.

Le Utility Spells

3x Muddle the Mixture

4x Spell Pierce

2x Pact of Negation

2x Vapor Snag

2x Trickbind

2x Mana Leak

Muddle the Mixture is a very good card in this deck. It acts as a win-con by being able to get Exsanguinate, it fetches Pili-Pala and Spellskite, and it can protect my combo too. Amazing.

Spell Pierce is a great tempo spell and combo protecter.

Pact of Negation is good for hindering disruption mid-combo and is an effective hard-counter late game.

Vapor Snag bounces a creature and deals one damage. It's a great tempo spell and can protect my combo in a pinch.

Trickbind is in because everyone either runs fetches, has some relevant activated ability or triggered ability in their deck.

Mana Leak is my 2 mana tempo spell of choice, simply because Remand puts removal spells back into their hand.

Le Sideboard

1x Banefire

1x Dismember

1x Dispel

1x Engineered Explosives

4x Leyline of Sanctity

2x Master of Waves

1x Negate

1x Pithing Needle

3x Spellskite

Banefire is a win condition for when I face counter-heavy decks.

Dismember is to kill creatures.

Dispel is to counter instants (duh), especially removal spells.

Engineered Explosives is for the decks with pesky 0 or 1 drops.

Leyline of Sanctity is for decks that rely on targeting me.

Master of Waves is for Lightning Bolt decks.

Negate is just a hard counter when I need more hard counters.

Pithing Needle is for any activated abilities and the mirror match.

Spellskite is for things that target my creatures (like bolt) or their creatures (like Daybreak Coronet and Splinter Twin.)

That's the deck! Tell me what you think!

I need more ways to win against Stony Silence, Mirrodin's Public Enemy #1!!! It just makes me cry myself to sleep every night, and Suppression Field doesn't help my tears, either. Pls help. Thhaaaaannkk yoooooouuu!!!! Please comment!!! Bye!
