Rotation... —Oct. 5, 2018

There are so many changes that it is hard to keep track. Noticeable losses in mana fixing are Sheltered Thicket and Servant of the Conduit. Big threats lost include Rhonas the Indomitable and Glorybringer. Removal in Abrade and Chandra's Defeat has been lost as well. We did get some good creatures in Guilds along with knowing Gruul will be a guild coming up soon, that means just more support for this fun deck. Hope you all still like the deck, despite rotation!

Must say I like your choice of deck name... Great minds think alike? Have a look at what I cooked up! I gave you a +1! I wouldn't mind one in return! ;) thanks!

Haha. Not surprised on the fact the name was already taken. Sweet deck. I appreciate the up vote.

Haha. Hey, FSims81! Of course I'll take a look! I added the '!' in the title to help me remember which was mine, lol.

i think Servant of the Conduit is kinda a waste in this deck, since you have no other energy stuff at all. 2 more drovers are just straight up better. i also think that since your deck revolves around the Goreclaw, its a shame you dont have 4 copies of it, considering its the obvious target for kill-spells. id take out the conduits, and finish the set of drovers and gorclaw instead.

i really like the deck btw! GJ

xhuggels Thanks for the comment! The main reason behind Servant of the Conduit is that it's a 2 cmc ramp creature to get us to 4 drops a turn earlier. I think it's possibly better than llnaowar just for that reason. I have more servant than drover because of how servant will survive Goblin Chainwhirler coming down on curve, even if on the draw. It can also block Bomat Courier. As for 3x Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma, mono green is a top deck that doesn't have too many answers. This is basically a variant, but has more reach. I know the 3 toughness makes it vulnerable, but it just feels bad to have the playset in the event of having useless copies in hand.

I stand corrected hehe. Thats a well thought out answer boss. Personally in a meta infested with red damage spells and control archetypes id rather have a useless copy to replace the one that is bound to die in a turn or two than lose him and pray for a good draw, but thats just my personal opinion on the matter. If 3 copies get the job done then all is well

I may try out a 4th copy. Goreclaw is fun because it's a great card, but the deck doesn't need it to work well. It's kind of like the Winding Constrictor decks. Works great without it's key piece and feels like it's free rolling when key piece IS allowed to live. Getting a 1 cmc Rhonas is always fun, lol.
