Gonti, Lord of Luxury Mono-B Blink!

I fell in love with Gonti while watching a Commander game recorded on YouTube by MTGMuddstah. In one of the games, a Gonti Player jacked another player's Inferno Titan with Gonti's ability and went nuts with it. After watching that game, I was always thinking of different cards and combos to play with Gonti and quickly ended up constructing a list.

This deck focuses on getting as many Gonti ETB triggers as possible, as well as running a host of creatures we are happy blinking and reanimating along-side him.

Early game you want to establish value, drawing cards and generating mana ramp with cards like Read the Bones and Extraplanar Lens , while hopefully getting a Gonti-enabler online such as Conjurer's Closet or Phyrexian Reclamation .

Mid game sees us using Gonti to start grabbing nasty cards off of our opponents deck, disrupting their plans while bolstering our own, continuing to grind value with repeated uses of Noxious Gearhulk and Xiahou Dun, the One-Eyed , finalizing in a late-game plan of beating down with tons of accumulated value, or assembling a combo from our opponent's decks!

A sacrifice outlet like Vampiric Rites , Ashnod's Altar , or Phyrexian Tower combined with a graveyard effect like Xiahou Dun, the One-Eyed or Phyrexian Reclamation allows us to reuse not just Gonti, but other powerful ETB effects like Solemn Simulacrum , Noxious Gearhhulk, or Rune-Scarred Demon .
