: Oh the power when all three of these cards come together. Turn 5 tap 8 clues, a Spellbook, Inspiring Statuary, play a

3 mana not used in spell cost and
Sphinx's Tutelage
triggers 13 times. Even if they don't mill out then, and they get best case scenario that is a 26 to graveyard.
If the combo is on board, after you have drawn an unlimited hand size of 13, rinse and repeat.
Not to mention the bonus of free casting an Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger.
I do lack protection, but Darkness, comes in pretty handy. Tutoring helps Beseech the Queen and Whir of Invention to get combo cards, or even save my arse card with
Lich's Mirror

Fine Print Area.Standard is where I spend most of my days, and as a deck builder going against net decks the pro's play at FNM has turned me a little sour to the format. I am rather new to modern, and this is my very first attempt at something I haven't seen anywhere. I have yet to fully appreciate all the different meta types like dredge and tron (I am learning). So, with that being said I am definitely up for any suggestions and help. I am also building a cousin to this around Inspiring Statuary, Debt to the Deathless, and Aetherflux Reservoir.
