This deck was inspired by the card Witchstalker. I love the idea of a wizard/lich/witch being stalked by this creature that steadily grows powerful enough to kill them.

Death's Shadow - One mana 13/13 that kills itself...Perfect for Varolz, the Scar-Striped's ability
Kalonian Tusker - Good beater and nice in the graveyard with Varolz ability.
Varolz, the Scar-Striped - This guy and Death's Shadow is amazing.
Witchstalker - This is the guy we pump, cheap, hexproof maybe gets replaced by Thrun, the Last Troll eventually but for now I love the idea of this wild beast stalking powerful wizards, lich's and witches and, well, killing them.

Abrupt Decay - Needed for removal of everything under 3 mana

Dying Wish - Stack it on Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord ability and you have a huge loss of life.
