Sideboard

Maybeboard

This deck was built as a regen deck but it is slowly evolving and I would like some help on its future direction. I am enjoying the infect and counter building cards.

I would Like to make this a competitive deck, although it was originally casual.

[edit]I really like the regen/counter playstlye so lets go with that!

The plan was for early game to hold the fort with cards like drudge skeleton, Blight Mamba, River Boa and Wall of Bone until I could get out my big counter players like Corpsejack Menace and Heroes' Bane.

Other big creatures are for late game destruction to be equipped with Ring of Kalonia if the counter building plan fails. These include Kalonian Behemoth, and Elderscale Wurm, using Prized Unicorn to ensure defeat and Elvish Piper to speed up late game.

I would use enchantment combos such as Gift of Orzhova and Forced Adaptation to make big creatures/ buff up bigger creatures.

To ensure a creature's safety I would enchant them with Regeneration if they didn't already have that ability.

Instants consist of destruction cards such as Doom Blade,Assassinate, Victim of the night, Murder, and Naturalize, along with 2 Fog for dire situations.

Sorceries are mainly cards that help me get cards back from my graveyard such as Nature's Spiral, and March of the Returned. These work well with Deadbridge Chant. I keep a Bountiful Harvest in there for late game.

any other spells would be those that increase counter amounts such as Increasing Savagery and Solidarity of Heroes. these would combo nicely with Corpsejack Menace.

The sideboard is pretty nonexistent. I don't really know where I should go with this deck and any tips would be nice! I would like to compete with this deck later, so I would love any and all help.

Updates Add

Ok so I swapped out Gravedigger for Cadaver Imp, and Prized Unicorn for Wall of Tanglecord.

I also took out Stab Wound in favor of Wurm's Tooth and Demon's Horn.

I also replaced March of the Returned for Disentomb, since i find that my graveyard is usually devoid of creatures.

I plan on maybe replacing Reclaim with Treasured Find, I'm not sure yet.
