First off a bit of a disclaimer/explanation. I am a relatively new player to MTG. My general approach is to find effective decks I see being played and would like to try myself. However, many competitive decks have expensive cards within them. My approach is to try to create versions of these decks but at a much lower budget. I have a personal rule that I will not purchase any card above £2. Cards between £1 to £2 are my grey area and I have to be convinced they are necessary. This leads me to try to find slightly worse but financially more viable versions of cards that will perform the same function in a deck. I hope this approach is one others will benefit from allowing players who need to operate within financial constraints feasible decks.

Designed around Wildgrowth Walker and powering this up as fast as possible. Shadowed Caravel there to work alongside the Wildgrowth Walker are a threat on the board which the creatures such as Ixalli's Diviner Seekers' Squire Deadeye Tracker and Tomb Robber can jump into if you have the need to go tall to close out the game rather than wide. The Viven Reid is there as I got lucky and got one of them but could be swapped out for another card, this ensures all the cards in the deck are all below £1 in cost. Getting a Wildgrowth Walker down early alongside a Path of Discovery can really ramp up this deck quickly.

Having the Wildgrowth Walker removed from the board is a concern, so am considering Gruesome Menagerie to combat this, as well as maybe removing the Shadowed Caraval for Cast Down and/or Murder
