How this deck came to be! [read below]

I've played a lot of mono-black casual demon tribal\reanimator and actually had some real success against unsuspecting opponents. turn 1 sinister concoction, turn 2 heartless summoning, turn 3 demonic taskmaster with 2 mana left over for ultimate price or a similar 2-mana spell... Moving into turn 4, ive got enough mana to cast another taskmaster and still have three mana to spend on something, cast and equip a sword of the animist if i know my opponent is low on instantspeed removal or i have disruption in my hand, a true plethora of abilities are within my grasp. The objective is to force my opponent to spend his removal on my Taskmasters while discarding griselbrand or a demon of deaths gate with sinister concoction. Keep them distracted until my combo is aligned. Master of the Feast was also a contendor for cheap distracting demons but he doesn't fit too well with heartless summoning so he got taken out of the list.

This list was fun but it was missing something. Black is not known for its ability to destroy artifacts or enchantments, or for protecting it's own creatures. That's more of a white thing in my opinion.I loved the idea of reanimating griselbrand but a truly dedicated griselbrand deck uses goryos vengeance, removes demon of deaths gate and uses into the breach, nourishing shoal, worldspine wurm , faithless looting etc... mono-black doesnt fill the bill, but I still fell in Love with the power of the Demonic Taskmaster and realized he can win games if i swing at the right time.

This deck is a big overhaul from the one previously described in paragraph one. It brings a boatload of spot removal, disruption, and even counterspells. Let's check out the line-up

If you think I should reduce the number of cards from 4-of to a 3-of or less, please let me know. I always have trouble determining how many copies of a card are enough so some help would go a long way. Im hesitant to run a full playset of confidants because of how much risky utility they bring. My spells are low cmc but I dont want to be sitting on a hand full of confidants or have his ability find another confidant. we only want him to find us either a taskmaster or some disruption. nightcreep, fog, darkness, imp mischief, iso scepter, anything to stall the game or keep my opponent at bay.

Another concept I might visit is to splash blue for snapcaster mage and a couple spell snares being the driving force of developing this into a sultai deck. I'd like to add some more delve to this deck but with the dark confidants it's a big risk. Remand would also be very powerful when imprinted on iso.
