My first attempt at a Johnny-style budget deck. It is based around an early combo that should set you up to be on par with the simic player in the midgame. It goes like this:

1. Ramp into Godo as fast as possible.
2. Cast Godo, use his etb trigger to tutor for blade of selves.

3. Put Blade of Selves on Godo. Swing. You tutors will most likely be for(assuming a four-person table) sword of feast and famine, darksteel plate, and swift foot boots.

4. Put it all on Godo. Use him to keep tutoring for stuff and to double your mana with the sword.

5. If things aren't going well and you need to voltron him up, grafted exoskeleton and some form of evasion will ensure quick kills. Otherwise, overwhelm with aggressive force and focus Godo himself on keeping lifegain decks in check.
