The point is to force the opponent to sacrifice life and resources to get rid of your creatures, but they keep coming and their permanents keep disappearing.

Doomed Traveler, Blood Bairn, and Perilous Myr are damage/sacrifice creatures, where the opponent is forced to sacrifice 3 hp for a low/cheap creature, or face a very big blood bairn.

Shriekmaw, Utter End, Killing Wave along with Wrath of God helps you stabilize your board presence, removing blockers, enchantments and resetting the board when you gain the most from it due to Athreos, God of Passage.

Elspeth, Knight-Errant is strictly better than Sorin, Lord of Innistrad.If you have the money you should swap those.

Undying Evil is here for consistency, when Athreos, God of Passage is out you get to decide what triggers first, giving you more control of the board. Undying Evil+Shriekmaw/Fleshbag Marauder is a fun combo
