Fantastic! I love the flavor. +1!

Snow-covered lands and no Extraplanar Lens? Are you running them because Feldon grew up near the Ronom glacier? If so, I love it. Maybe have his Cane in there for flavor? It's a bit of a nonbo with Feldon himself, but it can save the creatures in your yard from a Tormod's Crypt or Rakdos Charm.

Snow-Covered Mountains because of what you have stated :), nice catch!

Also because things like Glacial Crevasses or Sunstone just seem like the cowardly tricks Goblins would employ.

No Lens because I didn't feel a strong need to have it added. I will give it some though.

Thanks for the question

I don't think the Lens is necessary. It looks like the deck does fine with a low-ish mana count. I usually only see snow-covered lands if they're using a Lens though, and I didn't notice the Sunstone or Crevasses. The deck looks fun and really flavorful!

Poor Feldon :( He always makes me sad.

But, for the purposes of this deck, he is a human, but the skull doesn't have to be human.... maybe his love was a goblin? Maybe she died because she was shunned by her clan, or perhaps she became victim of an honor killing to alleviate the shame of her loving a human...

Even if you aren't after having an infinite damage combo, I am going to suggest this due to you already having 2 of the 3 pieces.

I recommend Lightning Crafter. He's a goblin, for one, plus, with Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker and Skirk Prospector you get an infinite damage combo. Here is how it works

  • You will need a random critter out.

  • Get Skirk Prospector and Kiki out.

  • Play Lightning Crafter. When he resolves, you need to Champion a goblin; Champion the random critter.

  • Copy Lightning Crafter with Kiki and you will be forced to Champion another goblin. Champion Kiki (this is okay, you will see why). Tap the copy of Crafter to deal 3 damage, then sack him through Skirk Prospector.

  • When the copy dies through Skrik, it triggers the second part of the Champion ability, which brings Kiki back.

  • With Kiki back in action, you can copy the original Lightning Crafter and repeat this process. You will be dealing 3 damage, sacking Crafter copies, and bringing back Kiki until everyone and everything is dead.

For more explanation, you could check out my Purphoros, Forger of Goblins deck for a (possibly) better description, hahaha.

Also, I recommend Ashnod's Altar for a possible different sack outlet than Skirk. The thing is, you have great synergy with sacking your own creatures, like Goblin Bombardment and others (as you know). Plus, Feldon of the Third Path don't give one worry 'bout creatures in yo' graveyard!

Additionally, maybe think about Door of Destinies and/or Coat of Arms. They are both artifacts and would do stupid-crazy-stuff with your (primarily) goblin creatures.

Anyway, hope any of these suggestions are worth anything! Food for thought and probably the best Feldon deck I have seen thus far!

Have you considered using Daretti, Scrap Savant with the tokens as sacrifices, along with Goblin Welder and/or Slobad, Goblin Tinkerer? Not sure if necessary but certainly thematic. You can also sac Kiki-Jiki's tokens. You could sac to Ashnod's Altar and Skirk Prospector too, should you add them.

Also, Kuldotha Rebirth, Kurkesh, Onakke Ancient, Karn, Silver Golem, Bazaar Trader, Voltaic Key, Strionic Resonator, Sensation Gorger might be useful.

Akroma's Memorial is cool to help with fliers and protect against your own board wipes. Mana- and money-expensive but potentially amazing.

Very nice. I would like to suggest Goblin Wizard for the simple fact that it fits in with Goblin tribal.

Funny story, I had the Wiz in there and took him out for some reason. I'll likely add him back.

Well, if you are going for a goblin-focus and putting Goblin Wizard, since you already have Lackey, Matron, Instigator, and Recruiter, I suggest putting in Moggcatcher. Get stuff done! Haha.

Honestly, I would recommend taking out Ogre Battledriver and maybe Goblin Rabblemaster.

Also, maybe put in Basilisk Collar and when you have Goblin Sharpshooter out, you can equip Collar to him and, boom, you just got yourself a board wipe against only your opponent's creatures.

Just a thought!

Cool thought. I'll consider it. I do find Battledriver to be pretty awesome though

It was just a thought! At the end of they day, if you even want to use my ideas, it's totally up to you on what you switch for it!

This is your deck and the goal is for you to like it! Have fun and I look forward to seeing this deck grow!

Cheers!

I feel like the deck needs a creature based sink for all the mana you generate with echoes. Just a thought. i was play testing and noticed i could end up generating 20+ mana and nothing to do with it. Staff of Domination might be a good card here

Not a bad idea maddoxmtg, I might give that a go

Okay, so I'm not sure where the cut could be made for it, but since you are running Mana Echoes you should fined space for Sword of the Paruns as it holds the potential to go infinite with Krenko, Mob Boss (and Feldon or Kiki depending on your targets).

Ashnod's Altar + Nim Deathmantle + any creature that puts 2 or more creature tokens into play = infinite goblins, if you're into that sorta thing. Sure, you'd have to cast that creature, but still. Regardless, +1 from me.

I like that combo SirFowler. I'm getting lots of good ideas, but as with the prior comment suggesting Staff, I just have no idea what to cut!

The challenge is more.... Challenging... When I try to have a narrative reason for each card, to jive with the story idea and theme.

Made a couple changes.

First, I cut Mana Echoes which might be controversial, but I have yet to play it and already know the deck works very well on its own. I also don't run anything to abuse Mana Echoes with, so they seem a bit pointless to me. In its place, I added in Raging River which I believe can and will make combat all the more interesting.

Second, I cut Avalanche Riders to add in Manic Vandal. Artifacts are a huge threat, and having on;y one way to deal with them is a bad idea. I already have 3 other reusable ways to handle lands, so this just balances things out a bit.

Sweet!

I'm not crazy about Basilisk Collar in this deck. If your board presence is over the top, Fanatic of Mogis could be a great card, especially in combination with a reanimation engine such as Feldon.

July 26, 2016 6:38 a.m.

Also, why are Thousand-Year Elixir and Magewright's Stone not in here?

July 26, 2016 6:40 a.m.

Ender666666 says... #25

I'd like to include both. It's just a matter of not knowing what to cut for them
