Down...down...down underground...

down down down in Goblin Town!!!

I like the the new Goblin Combo that everyone is talking about.

T1: Foundry Street Denizen

T2: Goblin Piledriver and attack for 2

T3: Goblin Rabblemaster and attack for 9

T4: attack for 19

but it is very difficult to do that in a format with Bile Blight, Anger of the Gods, Virulent Plague, Drown in Sorrow, Languish, Eyeblight Massacre, Crux of Fate, End Hostilities and a bunch of good spot removals. the black, dimir and esper decks will rock!! the main idea of these decks is T1:Thoughtseize, T2:removal or counter, T3:removal or counter, T4:Languish, T5:dragon and GG!!

so i was thinking how can i improve the Goblin Combo or at least do succesfully the same damage with some other cards?

my first thought was a Mono-Red, but i think that is not very solid, because without Skullcrack if your opponent somehow get some life you will be out of gus and you will die soon.

second thought was a Jeskai Ascendancy Goblin Tokens deck, but it is even more unconsistently than it was before, because Jeskai Ascendancy must be on the battlefield on the 3rd or 4th turn, there are many cards to beat the goblin tokens and propably you must cut some cards like Anticipate from the original Jeskai Tokens deck.

and third thought was the solid Atarka Red deck, but i dont know which cards should i remove to play the new goblins, because Martin Dang won the PT by casting Dash creatures all the time! You can build a deck like this with some goblins as guest stars!

finaly i found the forgotten Mardu Ascendancy. it's a card that can protect your creatures against some removals and also you can use it insted of turn3 Goblin Rabblemaster.

T1: Foundry Street Denizen

T2: Goblin Piledriver and attack for 2

T3: Mardu Ascendancy and attack for 12

T4: attack for 18

the Mardu Ascendancy's, Goblin Piledriver's +2/+0 and Goblin Rabblemaster's +1/+0 abilities are triggered at the same time. so you can put them on the stack in any order you want. and if your opponent use a -X/-X mass removal to kill your creatures, just sacrifice the ascendancy!

you can also use Goblin Glory Chaser instead of Foundry Street Denizen. unfortunately i couldnt find another good 2-drop. Subterranean Scout is just ok. you can attack for 1-2 on T2, for 4-7 on T3 and for 8-12 on T4. it is not an overkill but it s almost leathal!! another choice is the very good late game card Jeering Instigator, that is also a goblin creature. the last choice is the risky Eidolon of the Great Revel. it's very very very bad combination with these lands and its not a goblin. it's also a very very very good combination with Sorin, Solemn Visitor and propably very good against the new metagame!!

if you want to be more aggresive, cut 2 Sorin, Solemn Visitors and 2 lands, and play some cheap burn spells

Hope you enjoy the deck! I'm waiting for suggestions!
