Sideboard in your Goatnapper s, it's time to play some Goat Tribal.

Goal: Spawn as many Goats as possible using Springjack Shepherd and/or Springjack Pasture and make them as big as possible with Benalish Marshal , Eldrazi Monument , and/or Mirror Entity ; spam various "enters the battlefield" triggers using Cloudshift and Flickerwisp from Springjack Shepherd and Wall of Omens , meanwhile gaining life from Soul Warden . It's surprisingly versatile and resourceful, and it's super fun to play, especially for FNM. Give it a test and let me know what you guys think.

Individual Card Functions Show

• Springjack Shepherd is your primary source of goat madness. She makes goats based on your devotion to white (yes it's Chroma, but it's basically the same thing), and say you have a Soul Warden , a Wall of Omens , and a Benalish Marshal on the field, that's six 1/2 goats and 7 life, ten creatures total out on the field by turn 4! Then just keep flickering her over and over with Cloudshift / Flickerwisp and eventually you'll have a goat army bigger than the table your playing on, swinging for lethal afterwords.

• Kithkin Harbinger helps you get your Shephards out on time and acts as a tutor for not only Springjack Shepherd but also Mirror Entity . She's also a 1/3 blocker, which is pretty nice.

• Mirror Entity will most likely be your win condition if your goats aren't buff enough to get the job done. He also counts as a Kithkin, meaning you can fetch him with Harbinger. You can also use his ability to turn your puny 0/1 goats into 5/5s on top of all of the other additional buffs from Eldrazi Monument and Benalish Marshal .

• Soul Warden gains you life for each goat you bring out, also serving as fuel for Springjack Shepherd .

• Wall of Omens might seem like a strange addition, but it is actually a great source of card advantage. With all this flickering going on, you can blink him a couple times to draw a card or two. Might not seem like much but trust me it matters more than you might think. Also kinda has synergy with Kithkin Harbinger (tutor for a Shepherd, blink the Wall and draw it.)

• Flickerwisp works wonders for the deck. Not only can he flicker your Shepherd, but he can also target your opponent's stuff too. Liliana of the Veil gonna ult next turn? Reset it. Wurmcoil Engine causing some issues? Get rid of it for a turn, open up the field for attackers. You can also Cloudshift this guy to temporarily get rid of multiple threats at once, even during your opponent's turn. Just a great card overall.

• Benalish Marshal is also a great addition to the deck as it offers the most fuel for your Shepherd and even boosts all of your goats as they come into play. This guy is practically a 2-for-1 just sitting there.

• Eldrazi Monument turns your goats into flying indestructible monsters. Hilariously good, and also serves as another primary win condition.

• Brave the Elements is perfect for giving your goats the protection they need to pass through your opponent's defenses, especially if they're running mono-colored. Once you have enough damage for lethal, use this to secure the win. Definitely one of the better cards in the deck.

• Cloudshift is a miracle worker because it can accomplish many things at once and it has synergy with nearly every creature in the deck. It can protect, spawn tokens with Springjack Shepherd , remove with Flickerwisp , tutor with Kithkin Harbinger , and draw cards from Wall of Omens , doubling as life gain from Soul Warden , all possible for a single white mana at instant speed. That is HUGE! I wouldn't say broken, but this card is SUPER useful in the deck, don't doubt it for a second.

• Oblivion Ring & Seal Away serves as your removal. Don't be afraid to play these when you need to. If you see a threat, take it out! Remember that you can change the targets with Flickerwisp in case an even bigger threat approaches and you'd still be getting that devotion. That's synergy!

• Springjack Pasture is just broken. Produces goats, and you can sacrifice goats for mana and lifegain. And this card isn't even $2. Deserves a spot for sure.

• Shefet Dunes & Rustic Clachan can either start your goats off with some power or boost what's already on the field. These lands also enter untapped so that's a plus. Also remember that you can reveal a Mirror Entity for Rustic Clachan and be perfectly fine.

Sideboard Show

• Leyline of Sanctity stops direct burn and discard strategies. It's double white, so it provides good fuel for Springjack Shepherd .

• Damping Sphere for Storm and Tron (obviously).

• Leonin Relic-Warder for additional artifact/enchantment removal for Affinity, Bogles, and Enchantress-based strategies, doubling as good fuel for Shepherd.

• Relic of Progenitus for graveyard-based strategies.

• Devout Lightcaster against anyone running black. Surprised this card isn't more expensive (not complaining of course).
