As the land growns strong, so too do the elves. —Nov. 7, 2017

These edits were done over a long time in which I haven't updated the deck. As always, suggestions are welcome!

Replaced:

Concordant Crossroads

Noxious Revival

Argothian Elder

Copperhorn Scout

Crib Swap

Drove of Elves

Silklash Spider

Elvish Guidance

Elvish Soultiller

Dauntless Escort

Nissa Revane

and others.

Added:

Nissa, Genesis Mage: Does much more work than Nissa Revane.

Hornet Queen: Takes care of fliers, AND works with tokens.

Martial Coup: Overcomes dangerous board states while still benefiting you.

Selfless Spirit: Cheaper than Dauntless Escort and can fly.

Thousand-Year Elixir: No haste, but it is much more useful than the double-edged sword that is Concordant Crossroads.

Carpet of Flowers: Still testing this one, but statistically, it's likely you'll have islands in your game, making this an additional Sol Ring, a color fix, and a scaling ramp that works in whatever stage of the game you play it in.

Sylvan Library: Green's amazing card draw.

Abundance: Combos with Sylvan Library to guarantee Selvala hits, and to filter whatever you need at the time.

Vitalize: An untap with any mana elf is devastating.

Wilt-Leaf Liege: More anthems! Also if I have to discard, it just bounces to the field.

Anointed Procession: White Parallel Lives.

Cathars' Crusade: Rewards you with beefier tokens, to an extreme degree.

Congregation at Dawn: Good in Rhys, busted wide open with Selvala

Orochi Leafcaller: Tiny 1 drop mana fixing snek

Mirror Entity: More ways to combo and hit big mana

Growing Rites of Itlimoc  Flip: IKEA's cradle. The elves have been practicing their rituals.

@Ajani@mtg, He's in the deck. Maybe I forgot to add him when editing.

where is Joraga Warcaller ? he combos so nicely with Immaculate Magistrate also ive found that Wirewood Hivemaster is great for creating chump blockers

I do need a Joraga Warcaller in here for sure. I also considered Skyshroud Poacher. I'll think about the Wirewood Hivemaster

Joraga Warcaller is a must for any elf deck and if you have Taunting Elf with him you don't even need trample most of the time. that flavor text on Skyshroud Poacher is just perfect. absolute perfection.

Yeah, best flavor text on an elf tribal card ever.

I do have a Joraga Warcaller in my Nath of the Gilt-Leaf deck, but I need to track down another one, and a Taunting Elf too!

Have you considered Presence of Gond? I find it quite decent in the rare event that you somehow need more elves. and if you want to be truly evil, you could equip it to Midnight Guard and all of a sudden, you are the center of attention.

That's a neat combo you've got there! I might have to add that. Good suggestion!

It's great on its own, but it's AMAZING in almost all elf related combos. Target creature get +1/+1 for every elf you control.."well, I have about 900, so I'll just target Joraga Warcaller, I don't think anyone would mind." Gain life for every elf: Who needs Ajani, Mentor of Heroes? I think you get the picture.

Selfless Spirit is a strictly better Dauntless Escort for creature protection. Haste/tap enablers also might be nice like Thousand-Year Elixir or even Concordant Crossroads if you want to live life on the edge.

You're right about the Selfless Spirit. Good call! I do have a Concordant Crossroads in the deck currently, but I like Thousand-Year Elixir because it's a bit more one sided. Thanks for the vote and suggestions!

As a big elvish tribal fan for both EDH and regular 60 card decks, this is absolute perfection! As others have said, Joraga Warcaller would fit in very well, but with cards such as Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger and Craterhoof Behemoth, this one is a little out of my price range, but I love it none the less. I'm also working on my own elvish ramp, (non EDH) and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! +1'd!

Thanks for the feedback! Elves are my favorite fantasy race. They're different enough to keep you entertained, but flawed enough as a race to make good characters, not to mention the connection to nature. It isn't perfect but it is definitely fun! I have a few updates to make that are now in the deck. And I want to fit in a few things like a Predator, Flagship and maybe a Tolsimir Wolfblood, as well as some other tweaks to dial it in better.

I like the splash of white, I run a classic mono G elf deck (or rather my wife does) :PI was wondering, you have Concordant Crossroads in, I used to have that too but I swapped it for Akroma's Memorial and it's been a lot better for me at least :)

Thanks for the feedback! I did end up taking Concordant Crossroads out though. I'll have to update the changes soon.
