Goodbye Planar Portal —April 30, 2015
While I love Planar Portal in the stint it had in this deck, I think it's time to move on from this card in lieu of Aluren. Planar Portal is a win more card, imo, and when I had it out with Seedborn Muse and Vedalken Orrery, wow.
I used to run Aluren a long time ago in this deck until I came to the conclusion I did not want to help my opponents out by giving them free creature spells as well, so I cut it. Keeping that in mind, I think it still benefits this deck to have it as part of the 99.

rob_shifflett: Actually my Dragon Shields are so ancient they reduce the shininess of the foils lol, I really need new ones. I still got a few to go to foil it out and I think I'm going to get someone to proxy the cards I can't foil so it's 100% one day!

Wow, so much shiny. Do you often sit in a way that the light reflecting off your foil is distracting?
