Sideboard! —April 14, 2015

I've decided to implement a sideboard to deal with decks at the new LGS I play at with players who think degenerate decks are the new cool thing -___- My sideboard adds control elements to my deck to slow and hamper down the opposition...

Ugin's Nexus for countering multiple turns.
Pithing Needle to shut down cards some decks rely heavily on.
Tormod's Crypt for decks that love their yards.
Choke makes Blue players sad.
Ratchet Bomb, bye bye tokens.
Arcane Lighthouse, one word - Narset.
Nature's Wrath, I never knew this existed, instantly in love.
Jester's Cap lets me exile problematic cards from opponents decks.
Titania, Protector of Argoth for land destruction.
Hall of Gemstone is green control at its finest.
Lignify shuts down a Commander or problematic creature.
Song of the Dryads works just like Lignify, but works on any permanent.
Dosan the Falling Leaf, Blue players hate him, and for good reason.

The biggest issue for me will be deciding what to board out when bringing some of these cards in.

I would recommend running Aluren so you get that extra way to recast Omnath at instant speed. The holy trinity of Omnath protection is Yeva, Nature's Herald, Aluren, and Vedalken Orrery.

Also Nature's Wrath is a hilarious sideboard option, I like using it as a more general way to deal with control players.

Lmao Nature's Wrath is totally going in there. Didn't even know that card existed! Totally going in my sideboard.

I used to run Alure, but i didn't like giving my opponents any help. I might consider running it again and give it some more testing.
