This is my favourite deck that I have created. There is a small backstory about how this deck came about which I will put at the end of this blurb for anyone who wants to read. It is also a very fun deck to run!

Deck Focus

Glissa, Construct Harvester focuses on artifact value and recursion. The main focus is to keep control of opponent's creature numbers by targeting the issues on the board. After building up a solid board state you will start recurring value engines whenever you see an opening with creatures dying.

By the end of the game Glissa wins by creating continuous combos and swinging with creatures that will easily come back if sent to the graveyard.

Combos

• Marionette Master + Cranial Plating + Arcbound Ravager / Krark-Clan Ironworks = Massive life loss

• Flayer Husk + Salvaging Station + artifact/creature death trigger ( Blood Artist / Marionette Master ) + Arcbound Ravager / Krark-Clan Ironworks = Targeted damage

• Glissa, the Traitor + Thornbite Staff + Viridian Longbow = No opponent creature can stay on the field

Origin

When I first got into magic it was the Kaladesh block. I managed to pull an Arcbound Ravager and thought it looked like a really cool card. However being new and naive I was too interested in the price people would pay for it and so sold it... I then learnt that the masterpeices were VERY rare and hard to come by. I always wondered what could have been with that card if I had kept it. Flash forward a year and my local EB Games was having a clearance sale of magic cards at $4.00 NZD per pack (Normally $6-$7 NZD). I bought about 7 over the space of 3 days and (no word of a lie) manage to pull;

• Noxious Gearhulk

This ridiculous pull flicked the switch to make an EDH deck with these cards and have been added to with other really cool pulls I have gotten over the past few sets, such as Pre-Release Vraska, Relic Seeker , The Immortal Sun or Sheoldred, Whispering One .
