Glissa in general is a pretty interesting general to play an artifact deck with since there truly isn't much artifact synergy in Golgari colors, prompting us to play it almost entirely colorless... but we get to use the very best of the little there is - cards like Ancient Stirrings and Beacon of Unrest . Originally I attempted a more aggro-oriented deck, but because some of the artifact aggro staples are so damn expensive (e.g. Wurmcoil Engine ), I've decided to refit the deck as more of an artifact combo/storm thing.

The reason for excluding goodstuff staples and a non-crap landbase is because I have like four other black and/or green decks that'd gobble them up way before this one. This deck is more of a "stuff I didn't have anywhere else to run" thing. Aside from Engineered Explosives , it's also very much a budget brew.

Suggestions are welcome of course, but please keep them budget-conscious.
