My first commander deck! Spent most of my time and money on this one. It's my baby. It is also blue so I hate myself whenever I play it. The main win con of this deck is Gray Merchant of Asphodel. Step 1: Play him... Step 2: Sac him... Step 3: Repeat until win. This decks only real counter is exile. Counterspells are annoying but hey, I get things out of my graveyard so you just prolong the inevitable. There are few cards in here that I don't like or thing don't really belong in here. Suggestions are more than welcome though! There are a few cards that would be better, but most are expensive. There are a couple cards from some of the newer expansions that I think would work well with the deck, mainly Vanquisher's Banner, which would be fantastic for card draw and the counters. I just have not gotten around to getting it. A card that I still have to consider is Quest for the Gravelord. I have mixed feelings about it. If I get it out I am going to get a 5/5 zombie no matter what at some point in the game. I am just not sure that it is worth it when I could put in a card, for instance, the previously mentioned Banner.

Currently, a prototype since I need to add some maybe board cards. The 4 from the maybe board most likely going in are Crow of Dark Tidings,Door of Destinies,Ghoulcaller's Chant,Screeching Skaab, and I want to make room for Vanquisher's Banner. Rise of the Dark Realms Would also be interesting, but the cost is a bit high and I already have a card that more or less does that. I have been debating getting rid of the counterspells too. Nice to have but if I can replace them with better cards I will.
