A deck built simply to prove a friend wrong. Gideon is playable in standard. The main strategy is to lock your opponents creatures down and beat down with Gideon. Gainsay and Swan Song are sideboarded in against anyone running Cyclonic Rift because it fucs up our plan. Hopeful Eidolon plus a couple Ethereal Armors can make a turn 2 7/7 first strike lifelink and the eidolon can also be used in the late game to give Gideon lifelink for a turn and feed the Sphere of Safety.
