Ghired's Pound Town, Siege Mode Edition

Commander / EDH Aggro Casual RGW (Naya) Tokens

IrateWarrior

after a multitude of testing, 1v1 duals and 4 person duals I am very happy with how it is running. The goal as most gruul or naya is running a very heavy handed combat style with enough protection to survive the hate you will expect after a 40dmg combat swing.

Upgrades again - as the testing never ends as balancing is continuous I added some extra draw and ramp to have it run more consistently. In the average of 10 play tests to turn 5 ghired was out 8/10 times with 4 of them swinging for 30 by turn 5/6 so I am very happy with how it runs. Additionally I have added extra combat phases to the deck to ensure it’s ground and pound nature continues, with the likes of Pathbreaker Ibex and a single extra combat round I have been able to eliminate multiple opponents in a single turn with combat damage

—-Newest Changes—-

Countless Weeks of testing Online and live testing this deck has been changed card by card to best consistently progress in a semi Competitive deck. Big Creature Focus was altered into a Dragon focus deck to have the Large creature more impactful. The Dragons ended up being big Threats that couldn't quickly end in a 4 person dual, what ended up keeping pressure was constant trample dmg from 4/4 Rhinos.

Removing Dragons lowers the CMC by 10 total as well increase the ability to apply pressure with Trample/Haste Threats.
