Some classic stax, just sac, tap and tax... and land destruction.

primer is slightly outdated

I need to cut down some cards, so any suggestions on what to remove, or any suggestions at all is much appreciated

Why Ghave, Guru of Spores?

• Black: Provides access to Grave Pact effects, card draw, reanimation, discard and tutors

• White: Provides access to removal, tap effects, tutors and token synergy

• Green: Provides access to ramp, lots of token synergy

• Abilities: Ghave goes infinite so easily that sometimes it's accidental. As well, the ability to create or sacrifice tokens at instant speed can provide a lot of advantage.

Stax

• Tap down everyone's board and keep them tapped with Winter Orb, Static Orb, Tangle Wire, Mana Web, Kismet, Blind Obedience, Glare of Subdual

• Get rid of nonland permanents with Attrition, Aura Shards, Dictate of Erebos, Martyr's Bond, Smokestack, World Queller

• Tax your opponent's spells, to limit what can be played or what is "worth" playing with Damping Engine, Defense Grid, Desolation, Spelltithe Enforcer

• Destroy some lands! Lose all of your friends with Dust Bowl, Ghost Quarter, Tectonic Edge, Acidic Slime, Desolation, Global Ruin, Mwonvuli Acid-Moss. World Queller and Martyr's Bond can help with this too.

Gaining Advantage

• Mana Rocks and creature ramp cards like deck:Earthcraft and Cryptolith Rite can help work around land destruction, and not being able to untap.

• Nature's Will can untap your lands while tapping down your opponents.

• Recursion can help bring back strong cards that were removed, or get extra value off of small permanents. Glissa, the Traitor gets back stax pieces and mana rocks, Hell's Caretaker and Meren of Clan Nel Toth can grab creatures, Mimic Vat can create copies of an exiled card (great with a token doubler), Sun Titan grabs permanents cmc 3 or less, Ramunap Excavator helps after land destruction.Eternal Witness works wonders in this deck, as it can be reanimated my most of the reanimation spells to get any card.

• In order to combat all of the forced sacrificing, consistent token generation with cards like Awakening Zone, From Beyond, Nath of the Gilt-Leaf, Creakwood Liege, Elspeth, Sun's Champion, Squirrel Nest will put you way ahead of your opponents. These effects are made even better with cards like Anointed Procession, Primal Vigor, Parallel Lives.

• Nath of the Gilt-Leaf, Sadistic Hypnotist - sac a token to make an opponent discard 2 cards, get 2 tokens back in return. Repeat until opponents have no cards in hand.

• Squirrel Nest, Earthcraft - tap to make a squirrel token, tap the squirrel token to untap the land, gives you infinite tapped squirrels. Add a token doubler like Parallel Lives for infinite mana, infinite tapped and untapped tokens

• Glare of Subdual, Winter Orb/Static Orb - tap an orb on the end step before your turn to be able to untap everything.

• Ghave, Guru of Spores, Ashnod's Altar, Parallel Lives/token doubler - infinite etb/sacrifice triggers

• Ghave, Guru of Spores, Ashnod's Altar, Cathars' Crusade/Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest - infinite tokens, infinite colourless mana
