The Combo: Ghalta, Primal Hunger + Food Chain + a decent board presence adds up to nearly infinite (Completely infinite with an effect like Rhonas's Monument) mana and ETB/Cast triggers. Once we've got the combo going, we have some storm finishers being Aetherflux Reservoir and Hunting Pack (The latter being better with effects of maybe a Concordant Crossroads or a Craterhoof Behemoth. Several different ways to draw additional cards with these kind of shenanigans in a kind of form similar to Soul of the Harvest. The deck also runs Paradox Engine to help support the deck in gaining real mana and not the "creature-specific" mana from Food Chain.

The key card being Food Chain is difficult to tutor to in Mono-Green. We have to take the long way around. Cards like Crop Rotation, Sylvan Scrying, Realm Seekers and Ulvenwald Hydra help us tutor for Inventors' Fair. Once we have that and assuming we have metalcraft with our mana rock package and other artifacts, we sacrifice it to tutor for either Ring of Three Wishes or Planar Bridge. From there we use either of those cards to tutor the Food Chain.

Once you're ready to start the combo and have 10 power of creatures already, you can cast Ghalta, Primal Hunger for the low low cost of Good Game... err I mean GG!
