My first attempt at a commander greater than 4 cmc. I really wanted to optimize the threat of Wrexial by ensuring proper protection (without converting quite over to voltron). So I added a lot of great hexproof and artifact tutoring objects. This deck, for me is very budget, and was made mostly from cards I just had lying around. Some possible upgrades I would consider (see the maybe board) are sword of the animist to help with ramp, lightning greaves, and fabricate. But the ability of Wrexial to steal ramping from players and the amount of budget alternatives to the latter two of the upgrades make me hesitant to just add them in--and make it hard for me to justify a slot I can give up. A strategy I thought of for this deck was to draw and draw cards and to really ensure that I don't miss a land drop. Being able to steal green ramping cards also is a huge plus. The biggest hole in this deck that I see is a lack of boardwipes and a glaring weakness to boardwipes. Boardwipes are not very friendly to my commander at all since I struggled to find budget indestructible options for my commander. If you have any upgrades/help please comment them below!
