This deck is a more optimized version of 'Get Big Quick', another deck on my profile. I've added several cards that quickly bring opponents life totals down by half or more. Sorin Markov, Magister Sphinx, Archfiend of Despair, Wound Reflection, and Revival / Revenge all serve to quickly raise eyebrows and drop opponents life totals without even having to swing a creature! But even after dropping those pesky opponents down to a more reasonable life total, we still need to drain them of those last few life points. Polluted Bonds, Obzedat, Ghost Council go little by little, and Debt to the Deathless, Death Grasp, and Aetherflux Reservoir can zap out one or more of your opponents at a time.

It would be irresponsible not to mention that there are a few pretty nasty combos in here. Aetherflux Reservoir + Bolas's Citadel will storm through most of your deck and eventually start gaining you life per spell cast off the top (save your land drop per turn to avoid bricking on your first land).Basalt Monolith + Dramatic Reversal + Isochron Scepter / Any set of nonland permanents tapping for 3 will net you infinite colorless mana. There's also the classic Exquisite Blood + Sanguine Bond + any lifegain to produce an infinite and game winning loop of damage.

Ad Nauseam is just nuts, and usually you'll have enough life to put a metric butt ton of cards in your hand without going below 40, and if you've got Reliquary Tower or Venser's Journal out on the board, you won't have to discard a thing!

If you're just sitting up high on your throne and you can't find your combos, grab a Test of Endurance or Felidar Sovereign to put an end to the rat race and cement your place as the Giant King.
