Unleash the power of the Sultai tribe - weaken your opponents and control the battlefield with your graveyard. With this deck, you can control your turns by taking the most out of the undead - reanimate, discard, choose what to cast.

Predictability, consistency, control, right pacing.

Predictability - because your creatures are in your graveyard, you know what you can cast, when you can cast.

Consistency - cards chosen in this deck present a very consistent gameplay. You will always have something to cast or draw a card to speed up your turns.

Control - control in this deck also benefits you by sending even more cards to the graveyard while killing enemy creatures or drawing more cards

Right pacing - creatures were carefully chosen to establish a good mana curve as well as power curve. This deck does really well in all stages - early, mid or late game.

How to play this deck

You will want to get as many creatures on the graveyard as soon as you can. Lands also count.

Lotleth Troll is the early game winner here. It's an absolute great blocker and can easily get very powerful. It will also help you discard cards, populating your graveyard.

The mill cards, except for Glimpse the Unthinkable will help you control the battlefield and help you draw some cards.

Prized Amalgam, Vengevine can easily make it to the battlefield at no cost. Gravecrawler is the guy who triggers combos, and Stitchwing Skaab also helps.

Sidisi, Brood Tyrant has a great combo with Glimpse the Unthinkable.

  1. Only cast Sidsi, Brood Tyrant and Lotleth Troll from your hand. The exception to this rule is if you really need to block.

  2. Be careful against control decks or sideboards that can exile your graveyard. Elixir of Immortality is here to help.

About the Deck

About this deck

Unthinkable Sultai Power is the result of multiple attempts to improve the U/B The Unthinkable Graveyard, Zombie Self Mill, which is also self-mill.

The Deck was built with good pacing in mind. There is no turn where you can't cast a spell, and the deck does well in early, mid and late game.

Updates Add

I've decided to add Nantuko Husk to add sacrifice to this deck. Why? Sacrifice is great with Gravecrawler and Prized Amalgam, specially because there's more chance now to reanimate Vengevine.

I've also added Collected Company instead of Gather the Pack since they were doing pretty much the same thing, just the latter being slower.

I really like your list, but I have been trying to distill your deck through the lense of the current Dredge and was hoping you could give me advice on my list.Zombies, Dredge, or Mill? Yes

Wow, nice idea, playtested it against my vampire deck and got wrecked xD. I would even say that Door of Destinies is better for you than Coat of Arms, because everytime a gravecrawler leaves the battlefield, you are weakening the coat effect, while with the door you get a charge counter every time a gravecrawler enters the battlefield. The counters remain. That means you get more counters every time. I hope you understand what I mean. And maybe you'd want to build in Liliana's Mastery.

Kappalauzius well, the Gravecrawler thing indeed is a good idea. Hadn't thought of that. Will do some playtesting and see how it goes! Thanks for the feedback, I'm glad you liked the idea!

What style are you playing? Is it agro or mid-range? I would suggest either more control elements, like Mana Leak and Collective Brutality or instead some heavy hitters like Goryo's Vengeance and Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur//Griselbrand

hey SirSh4ggy thanks for the suggestions. I'm playing mid-range at this point.

Collective Brutality would be a nice addition as well as Goryo's Vengeance with Sidisi, Brood Tyrant followed by a Glimpse the Unthinkable.

I'll test these cards out!
