Maybeboard

A little out-dated at the moment.

My Tazri EDH deck. Overall, the deck is a bit of a glass cannon in a way. Once it gets set up with key allies on the board and flicker effects available for protection and value-generation, it is very difficult to stop. I am still trying to make it a bit better in the early game...

The win conditions are either combat with buffed up allies or combos. The combat is pretty straight-forward, use the allies you draw, tutor for something like Kabira Evangel for protection and to get through blocks and swing away.

Beyond the great flickering synergies with the Allies and their rallies, there are two combos that the deck can go for. The first is Deadeye Navigator + Harabaz Druid + Chasm Guide + [Another Ally]

The idea is that with Deadeye soulbonded to Druid, and with Guide on the field, Druid will be tapping for (at least) 2 blue mana, which is enough to flicker with it's soulbond effect with Deadeye. When it comes back, it gets haste thanks to Guide so it can tap for mana and flicker again idefinitely. The "another ally" can be pretty much anything:

  • Kalastria Healer or Hagra Diabolist: kills everyone just off of ETBs from Harabaz Druid's flickering.

  • Literally any other Ally: Harabaz Druid will be tapping for at least 3 mana and flickering for 2 each time so you generate infinite blue mana, which can then be used for a new cycle to generate infinite mana of any color, which can be used to cast or flicker Tazri to get you your win-condition.

The second combo is much simpler and is Turntimber Ranger + Arcane Adaptation or Xenograft. The enchantment makes all creatures allies, Turntimber creates a wolf with his rally, so now the wolf is an ally, triggering Ranger again as many times as you want for infinite wolves, +1/+1 counters on Ranger, and ETBs for any other allies you happen to have which is very easy to win off of.

If you want to make this deck stronger, add tutors for the combo enchantments (and add Conspiracy), and a way to grab Deadeye. As-is, I just go for the combos if I draw into any of those three cards, with Tazri getting any of the other combo pieces I would need.
