Taking full advantage of Mirrodin's modular mechanic. Toying with synergy in Hardened Scales, Winding Constrictor, and the proliferate mechanic. The core deck is typical affinity: Ornithopter, Springleaf Drum, and Mox Opal with 17 land.

Heavy Hitters

• Arcbound Ravager - Makes the deck tick by allowing control over modular triggers.
• Walking Ballista - Load up with +1/+1 counters and bomb your opponent or their board.
• Steel Overseer - Obviously great, don't make me explain it.
• Hardened Scales/Winding Constrictor - All triggers add an extra counter: ETB, dies, overseer, ballista. This gets out of hand fast.

Other Cards

• Tezzeret's Gambit - Ups the tempo if the deck falls into a lull.
• Fatal Push - Clears up blockers, but may be used to force a modular trigger.
