Garbage-Fire Tron

This deck is literally trash. It's a literal bag of turds on fire. but the best part about that is... when you try to stomp it out... you get burned and the stuff ends up EVERYWHERE.

This is Mono-Red Tron. its big, it's mean, it puts control decks in their place, and the best part... IT'S BUDGET!!!

So there are about three main win conditions in this deck. there's the easiest, but easier to stop, strat: You Throw a Stuffy Doll out on the field and use star of extinction to deal a perfect 20. Then there's the harder to assemble strat, where you either get a bunch of mana or use Ayromancer Ascension to hit them for lethal with a Fireball style spell. Personally, I like Red Sun's Zenith and Banefire the best... but you can use whatever you want. I mean... you're the one that wants to build my goofy Tron deck.

In all seriousness though, it's a solid deck and i worked very hard to bring it to where it is now. but... it DOES have it's bad matchups. Storm, Eldrazi Tron, Flicker, infect, and worst of all... R/G Tron. R/G Tron is the worst deck to go against vs this deck. And its all because of Ulamog, The Endless Hunger. That card is the LAST thing you want to see in your opponents hand. You have no solid defense against him, and you can't without janking up the deck. The two closest things you have are Scour From Existense and Helvault. Which, if you can get him off the field before he swings at you with either of those, there arent many things that exploit your weaknesses. Even a turn 2 Blightsteel can be stopped by you. Mainly because Blightsteel and other large threats don't EAT two permanents. Exiling permanents is not your friend.

Now, since you're probably not going to red all of this, let's move on to some of my, admittedly odd, choices in the deck. I Know most people will say that pyroclasm is better than Slagstorm, but I see how slagstorm is better for this deck. Your turn 1 and 2 are important, there is no way you would choose a pyroclasm over casting a map or resolving a warping wail or even getting another red source and a draw. and you normally wont need to kill anything that small, if you do, it can wait until turn 3, where you can catch more value for it and slow them down more. You can also Throw a little 3 damage to them as a finisher, since this deck doesn't run lightning bolt. That brings me to the second thinh that I KNOW people are going to say. "Why aren't you running lightning bolt?" My answer is... you don't need it. It's weak in this deck. Single point damage isn't a must have in this deck, and if you need to pay special attention to something in this decl, 3 damage isn't going to do it. And there's no use in getting "early damage" in when your probably just going to snuff them out all at once anyway. This isnt that kind of burn deck. Another question people might ask is "Why are you running Sundering Titan?" And the people who ask that haven't noticed the sub-theme of land destruction and enter/leave the battlefield triggers. Sundering Titan is the perfect creature for this deck because you can do so much and cripple yor opponents so greatly by abusing his ability, and since this deck runs Forboding ruins instead of shocks, they are safe. So you will always have a red and black source. And the one I'm going to be expecting the most is "Why are you Running only TWO maps?" And this one is more of a personal thing, I hate expedition map. I always have hated it. I feel like if you want to get tron fairly, you should have to actually draw it. This tron deck is the only one that can use them as effectively late game for things other than land search, and i STILL don't use them. I feel that tron is one day, going to get hit with a ban. And when it does, it will be in the form of expedition map and sylvan scrying. I want to show that this deck can grab tron fast without hefty amounts of either. but in the meantime, I use them because having single mana sac fodder/an emergancy tron tutor is kinda useful. and it helps keep up with the meta.

Please feel free to post any questions you may have about the deck. Thank you.
