Maybeboard

Creature (1)

Welcome to the party pal!

When I first saw Gallia of the Endless Dance I fell in love with the flavor and decided to build around her.

The concept is simple, build a board of vanilla creatures and swing until the party ends or everyone's dead. There are no combos here nor insane value engines. Just a weird pile of cards geared toward making up for the fact that there are 21 creatures with literally no abilities whatsoever.

...

I did not include vanilla elf classics like Willow Elf as I deemed elves not quite animals and therefore unfit to party. Sorry, not sorry.

...

If you want to make this a true budget deck you can cut the expensive swords for something worse like Bonesplitter and the Taiga/Gaea's Cradle can easily become a Mountain and a Forest. Vedalken Orrery also pushes this decks cost up a bit high and is more just for fun than actual use. I use it as a sort of haste substitute (like I do in most decks).

...

If you wanted to get nuts you could swap out the vanilla creatures for something, oh I dunno, good like Craterhoof Behemoth and Eternal Witness and Xenagos, God of Revels but where's the fun in that? It's Party Animals, not Party Good Stuff.

If you're feeling like a crazy risk taker who likes to take risks you could throw in a copy of Aluren for free casts on most of the creatures in the deck but that ability is granted to opponents as well. It's possible that with cards like Guardian Project or Lifecrafter's Bestiary (and Green mana support) that you can get quite a few creatures on the field to outvalue the opponent but, given we're running vanilla creatures, I don't recommend it.

...

The real hidden gem in this deck is Primal Surge. Depending on the physical location of Genesis Wave (the only other non-permanent spell in the deck) if you can get a Primal Surge off First Main Phase the bass drops and the party kicks into high gear. Just be careful with Guardian Project triggers as they're must's, not may's and you'll be partying with your Hurloon Minotaur and your Grizzly Bears like it's 1995.

Thanks for looking! Party on my Party Animals!
