Casual Life gain deck. Easy to play with a straight forward strategy. Life gain and cat synergies including big beaters like Ajani's Pridemate and Regal Caracal . I built this deck for my girlfriend who is new to magic and wanted a life gain deck that could hold up decently in a semi competitive game while still being simple and easy and to play.

Dragonlord Dromoka , Eternal Witness and the Sunpetal Grove lands are nice upgrades, but are a bit more pricey and are not necessary for this budget deck. For a more budget version of this deck I would recommend replacing dromoka with another Felidar Sovereign and the two Eternal Witness with two copies of Reclaim .

Swords to Plowshares is not legal in modern and if you were to play this deck in a modern game I would recommend replacing the two swords to plowshares with either two additional copies of Oblivion Ring or two copies of Declaration in Stone .
