Gahiji leads the horde! Traditionally, Beasts had much support in past blocks, although that eventually fell off as the years passed. Wizards still continued to print Beasts though, and they have always been a strong and relatively diverse creature type. This deck aims on using the more noteworthy ones, along with some of the unique tribal cards that exist, such as Aether Charge, Ezuri's Predation, or even Contested Cliffs. One characteristic of Beasts are their above average combat stats, especially Power, usually paired with Trample, which combined with Gahiji can lead to some very powerful combat to overwhelm defenses. The behemoths of Naya also provided some more defenses and abilities to enhance your creatures. And so the main goal is to crush life totals underfoot, although the sheer number of Beasts capable of hitting the field can make ETB Burn effects capable of finishing opponents off. So harness the primal instinct of the Beasts to dominate your foes!
