Ahah. Well that was fun. Yet again I find myself plunged down a money pit of pretty and expensive cardboard! If you were looking for the EDH deck that epitomizes and oozes the Visage of Bolas, this is the deck for you!

Built to be Grixis Control/Superfriends featuring Nicol Bolas as the main theme with support from his main minion Tezzeret! This build sits along the "Pub Stomp the Kitchen Table" meridian and is not recommended for the competitive EDH crowd, though it has been a refined piece of art in its own right since before Amonkhet block. It is, however, QUITE fun for sitting around the table with some buddies and slinging some casual bombs. The one combo included Bolas's Citadel + Aetherflux Reservoir + Sensei's Divining Top is only incorporated because two of the three cards fit theme and the third (Top) is just a very very good card that also counts toward our artifact count (important for the number of Tezzerets we're playing.) Once upon a time we had a foil Ugin, the Spirit Dragon and a Scalding Tarn in here. But they jumped unnecessarily high in fiscal value and we needed to sell. Eventually they'll find their way back in. Eventually. For now, enjoy a list of the top 100 cards I personally feel personifies Nicol Bolas the best!
