My newest project: nothing too special, just ramping into some funky bad ass action involving Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord while utility creatures keep everyone busy on the dancefloor.

Sooo, what do you do with this? Well along the usual ramping / occasional card drawing you basically

a) get a lot of cards into your graveyard ( Buried Alive , Hermit Druid , Golgari Grave-Troll ,...)

b) cast stuff that grows from a large graveyard ( Mortivore , Lord of Extinction , ...)

c) call upon your general and Fling some fat guys at your opponents

Other than the obvious synergies between cards that put cards into your graveyard and cards return cards from exactly that zone to your hand and/or play there are two pocket combos I'd like to point out:

Pretty well known from the hype it got when Varolz was released, this little engine serves double duty in here since you can not only put some pressure on the battlefield but also prepare some random critter for being thrown with Jarad.

I guess you either love or hate this one. With MadMike on the board, Triskelion generates infinite damage right on the spot while Workhorse + any sacrifice outlet will result in infinite mana (when combined with Skullclamp you'll even get to draw as many cards as you want to).

Did I mention that scavenging creatures goes quite well together with the last two?

Because it generates big, funky turns every game, because it is full of synergy and utilizes the graveyard to the very last bit, and because you always wanted to get invited to one of those legendary Golgari Rot-Parties, didn't you?

Until then, feel the funk and leave some comments, suggestions and/or +1s if you like to!
