Have you read the description for the boros deck? This is a similar principle. Me and my friend thought it would be fun to make a standard deck each and play 3 matches with booster packs as prizes. I've got a rakdos deck. He's got a gruul deck. I'm a little worried my rakdos deck can't keep up with fast-big boys which gruul has to offer. -Update- My rakdos deck won. I got the first two the match wins, thus sealing my victory swiftly. But I won’t lie, the first match was ultra-close and the second match was less so, but wasn’t a whitewash. Still, I didn’t get beaten by my protégé again... that would be embarrassing... -Downdate-

So the deck I had has now changed, I don’t have saved what I had before, but this deck has two main configurations for it - explained below.

‘Main Deck’ is cards which appear in both decks. - Going with rakdos colours and a general sort of theme of what any red-black deck wants to do: burn and kill and destroy and punish and not run out of cards. Obviously that’s a lot of stuff, but I can assure you this deck does it all... just not much to each... especially if it’s going to have two configurations. ‘Side Deck’, also known as ‘Fun(eral)’ is an instant & sorcery-more oriented deck, with Pestilence Spirit as the star, the fella responsible for all the funerals. - 9 cards which cycle cards from deck and 2 from graveyards. - 9 damage dealing spells which work with PS.

‘Maybe Deck’, also known as ‘(S)laughter’ is more about getting lots of stuff both on the battlefield and in your hand, before either killing your opponent through general burn and assault, or killing your opponent through immolation-driven burn. Because what’s funnier to The Cult of Rakdos than fire and sacrifice? Hahaha! Nothing. Nothing is funnier. - Goblin features and small critters to be sacrificed to either burn, buff or draw. - 9 spells which bring cards into your hand for Awaken the Erstwhile to hoard zombies out.

The ‘Acquire’ column is cards which are in the actual side deck. Seeing as there’s already thirteen cards taking up space in the side deck to switch configurations, I can only really have seven cards to spare to put into the side deck to compensate for when there are things I might not be able to deal with. Most of these cards do complement both configurations but not all.

PS I was very tempted to call this deck ‘Rak-Dos’.
