Welcome to my Thrasios, Triton Hero and Tymna the Weaver deck. This is my competitive Aluren deck, which I think has gotten pretty good over the course of the months I've been working on it.

Win Conditions

This deck almost always wins with an infinite combo. They are listed out here.

Parasitic Harpy Combo

This is the primary win condition for this deck. The end goal is to assemble Aluren + Cavern Harpy + Parasitic Strix to infinitely drain out your opponents.

How it works: Cast Parasitic Strix for free with Aluren . Play Cavern Harpy and return Parasitic Strix to your hand. Replace Parasitic Strix to drain an opponent for two since you control a black permanent ( Cavern Harpy ). Pay one life to return Cavern Harpy to your hand. You can loop from there.

This combo is easily achievable if you have Aluren in play and Recruiter of the Guard in hand. Cast Recruiter of the Guard for free and get Man-o'-War (or Shrieking Drake ). Cast the Man-o'-War and return Recruiter of the Guard to your hand. Play Recruiter of the Guard and get Cavern Harpy . Play Cavern Harpy and return the creature bouncer to your hand. Play the creature bouncer and return Recruiter of the Guard to your hand again. Then play Recruiter of the Guard and get Parasitic Strix . You've now assembled the Parasitic Harpy combo.

Dramatic Scepter Combo

If you have Dramatic Reversal + Isochron Scepter in hand and at least 3 mana worth of mana dorks or rocks in play, you can play Isochron Scepter and imprint Dramatic Reversal . Then, tap Isochron Scepter to untap all your nonland permanents, including Scepter and your mana dorks. You can then create infinite mana and cast Thrasios, Triton Hero , using his ability to draw your entire deck. Once your deck is in your hand it should be easy to win. Outside of the aforementioned Aluren combo, you can win by playing Copy Artifact , copying Isochron Scepter and imprinting Noxious Revival . You can then recur things from your graveyard infinitely for the win.

Notable Exclusions

People often suggest these cards to me, but they're not here for the listed reasons.

• The dual lands are just too expensive, and I don't feel that I need them.

• Gaea's Cradle is too expensive.
