Enchantment (6)

This deck is a followup/revision of my Bestowaway deck. That deck also focused on enchantments, with a focus on enchantment creatures, and bestow. The deck had several enchantment interaction effects, most importantly by Auramancer and Herald of the Pantheon. I came to realize that I relied little on the black aspects of the deck, and moved it fully to G/W.

After that, the biggest change was to remove Auramancer in favor of Starfield of Nyx. Both allow enchantments to be returned from the graveyard, but Starfield benefits from the "enchantments matter" effects elsewhere in the deck. Auramancer does not. Many of the cards that were meant to support Auramancer (Most notably Gift of Immortality) were removed as well.

As the deck stands now, the main goal is to stall while getting Karametra, God of Harvests, and Eidolon of Blossoms onto the field together. Once both are on the field, the player can begin rapidly moving creatures from their deck to the battlefield.

The various enchantments are meant to benefit both large numbers of creatures, and the animation effect of Starfield of Nyx. For this reason, high CMC enchantments were used. By happy coincidence, many such cards in green and white have a religious theme, which fits well with the Nyx theme.

As with Bestowaway, Silent Sentinel remains the least useful card in the deck. He remains because of sentimentality on my part.
