Foretold Celestial Wrath is a Modern Brew I tought about which uses a Interesting Mechanic between Celestial Kirin & Evermind by casting Evermind, which is normaly impossible. I once heared that someone suggested using Isochron Scepter to cast Evermind which has no mana cost to kill all tokens and lands in one go which was pretty slow because one needed six mana to activate it.

But since Amonkhet we got the second name sake card of this deck As Foretold. Not to mention the sweat additions Shadow over Innistrad and Eldritch moon made to spirit tribal. using a three card combo As Foretold, Celestial Kirin & Evermind we get a turn 4 hard to counter Armageddon in Modern while keeping out a strong 3/3 flyer and an enchantment that allows us to still cast cards.

One of our nicest moves in this Deck is, that we can kill every Titan by simply exiling one Celestial Kirin with Shining Shoal while having a Celestial Kirin on the battlefield. Same goes for exiling any of our three mana spirits and 5 cmc threats who are mostly in the cycling + card:Living End Decks. This means we can easily use some Pact like interaction. And as far as I know ther isn't any Instant speed alternate cost (free from mana) board wipe anywhere in magic. Heck it's so nice that I think about mainboard it three times.

We also run Ancestral Vision in this Deck because it helps us dig for our combo using As Foretold and casting our Control cards without using Mana.

As for our Spirit Tribal we basicly turning our Spirits into Faeries using Rattlechains who protects another Spirit or pump our Mausoleum Wanderer for a suprise counter. Mausoleum Wanderer is the Cursecatcher of Spirits and has evasion plus a slightly more aggressiv upside to deal damage. Drogskol Captain is another Spirit that can protect our other spirits and let our opponents spot removals go to waste. Spell Queller as another tribal counter spell also slows down our opponent. Altough depending on the Matchup we prefer Drogskol Captain over Spell Queller. Selfless Spirit works well against board wipes which we use ourself.

As for traditional counters we run Remand because it slows our opponent down while we keep our hand full and Mana Leak because it's cheap and nie on turn two. Most of our 2 CMC Slots are instant speed so we won't mind leaving two mana open on turn 2.

One little hint for the Manabase. Blue is our dominant color and is important for our low cmc cards. And if you want to try something interesting you could try playing Mutavault as a Land which can be turned indestructible with Selfless Spirit by sacrificing it and paying 1 and it can be buffed with Drogskol Captain.

One big disadvantages of this deck is: Casting any three cmc arcane Spell or Spirit can remove our "Who need Lands Combo" from the battlefield. Which means after we cast our three card combo there is no more casting Drogskol Captain, Spell Queller or Shining Shoal X = 1. We also have Problems advancing our board with more then one 1CMC creature and one 2CMC creature after we used our Boardwhipe beatstick unless we alread have a Selfless Spirit to take the hit four our other creatures..

The sideboard should be fixed regarding to the current meta but I think Drogskol Captain & Selfless Spirit are needed if we need to go more spirit tribal because someone shuts down our As Foretold. Spell Pierce is against Decks who run Chalice of the Void or turn 1-2 Spell combos against which our Mausoleum Wanderer won't work. And as explained earlier Shining Shoal works as a special case to destroy high cmc threats with our Kirin.

I hope you enjoy the main frame of this crazy Modern Armageddon Deck using one of the cutest fluffiest spirits from a the often hated plane Kamigawa. And you have to agree on one thing: even if you hate Kamigawa you can't hate a mystical fluffy horse spirit that wreak havoc like a horseman of the Apocalypse

Any oppinions on using Kira rather any other three mana spirit? I tought about it because countering the first spell they use to stop my combo can be countered and might generate card disadvantage for my opponent.
