Ixalan's Own Flying Men (Standard MTG Deck)

Flying men is a historic blue aggro deck that lives and dies with the 2 mana anthem, Favorable Winds. The namesake card Flying Men was not reprinted in Ixalan, but winds was, so we cobbled together many of our favorite 1-mana 1/1 fliers in an attempt at a fun, budget standard list. Because we don't have access to cards such as Spell Queller or Judge's Familiar, we are using many more 2-drops and Lookout's Dispersal for an attempt at a more tempo-style list. Lookout's Dispersal is especially good because half of our creatures are pirates, the same reason Fell Flagship acts as Favorable Winds 5 and 6. Enjoy the list! If you're looking for less budget, You can run Fatal Push in place of some counter magic and experiment with Jace, Cunning Castaway.

Sword-Point Diplomacy is something I've been looking at for a while; I think It's powerful but awkward against certain matchups. I really want to test with it, so if you have any experience with it I'd love to hear your anecdotes. I've slotted 2 into the sideboard for against control or slower decks, and I'd think to take out 2 chart the course for it, but I'm open to suggestions.

Replaced 2 Hostage Takers and 1 Walk the Plank in favor of 3 Dreamcaller Siren. My reasoning is that if the opponent has landed a scarab god, you should be close to winning already. Using a dead non-flier such as Hostage Taker will be such a dead card early, and if scarab god resolves, it can be unsummoned and countered next time around
