Welcome to the wonderful world of Mono White Artifact-Combo. With Dominaria, we were treated with the introduction of many great new legendary creatures. Enter Teshar, Ancestor's Apostle. A few months later I had the brewing itch. I was in the middle of building one of each mono colored deck, and couldn't settle on a mono white general. I think we all understand the curse that is mono white EDH. Sram was the new kid on the block, making Eggs Great Again, but it just didn't jive with me. I wanted something... jankier. Our fluffy bird cleric friend turned out to be exactly what I needed.

Now this deck went through a few iterations. Initially it was more of a Hatebears build, with Teshar as a value recursion engine. I began adding more artifacts, because come on, am I gonna fill it up with legends? Like the two playable Sagas? I quickly realized that you could churn out some crazy value with Teshar on the battlefield, and with additional playtesting, realized that you could accidentally stumble into combos way too easily. Eventually every game I played felt like I was playing some insane MTG Rube Goldberg machine.

I decided to focus on the combo aspect, while retaining the framework to maintain a solid value engine, and it has turned out to be a fantastic deck. All of the combos require Teshar on the battlefield, so you usually don't want to cast him until you can pop one off, but it's ok to cast him to grind out value if you have some way to protect him.

Here are some of the primary combos that can be assembled, all assume Teshar on the battlefield. Bear in mind that there are many that are not listed, or that I haven't discovered yet. With so many intricate pieces it's almost assured:

-Bounce Loop:

Kor Skyfisher, Aviary Mechanic, Whitemane Lion, Stonecloaker are your bounce creatures.

Bounce creature + free sac outlet + two 0 cost artifacts

Assembles an infinite cast/reanimation loop.

-Regrowth Loop:

Treasure Hunter and Trusty Packbeast are the "regrowth" creatures

Regrowth creature + free sac outlet + two 0 cost artifacts

Assembles an infinite cast/reanimation loop.

-Lotus Petal Loop:

Lotus Petal + Restoration Specialist/Salvage Scout

Assembles an infinite cast/reanimation loop.

-Retriever Loop:

Myr Retriever, Junk Diver, and Workshop Assistant fill the same roles here.

Retriever Creature + free sac outlet + 0 cost artifact

Assembles an infinite cast/reanimation loop.

Some neat things can be achieved via Ashnod's Altar and, possibly, Scrap Trawler in this loop. You can achieve infinite mana, which is good with Walking Ballista, or draw your deck with Scarecrone, Chromatic Star, Chromatic Sphere, or Conjurer's Bauble.

-A couple good lines can be performed with Recruiter of the Guard. This guy can carve many paths through your library in on turn sequence, assembling different combos for different contexts.

Recruiter of the Guard + Ashnod's Altar Cast Recruiter, tutor 0 cost artifact creature, sac Recruiter, netting 2 colorless mana. Cast artifact creatur, reanimating Recruiter, tutoring a retriever creature. You have now assembled a retriever combo from above, generating infinite colorless mana in the process. Reanimate Recruiter again rather than retriever creature, tutoring Walking Ballista, cast Ballitsa, and shoot the table.

There are of course many other lines you can perform with Recruiter. If you have Altar of Dementia, he can assemble a Bounce loop or a Regrowth loop as well. Also keep in mind that Recruiter can find Ranger of Eos, which can come in handy if you can't reanimate to assemble a combo.

-Infinite Mana:

Any of the above combos including an Ashnod's Altar, or Altar of Dementia + Lotus Petal.

With so many redundant pieces, it's easier to assemble one of these combos than it seems.

The wincons, some of which don't work in certain contexts, are as follows:

Altar of Dementia - Mill out the table. You can also mill yourself into Dispeller's Capsule and Stonecloaker to secure victories against anti-mill tech.

Desecrated Tomb - Make infinite bats. Must table once.

Monastery Mentor - Make infinite arbitrarily large monks. Must table once.

Aetherflux Reservoir - Gain infinite life, shoot the table, makes the deck feel like Storm.

Walking Ballista - If you happen to assemble infinite mana, can shoot the table.

The infinite creature combos are a turn slow, but generally work out. The Mentor and Tomb can also provide significant value, gumming up the board, stalling aggro, and feeding your altars.

Kami of False Hope - Anti aggro. Mimics Spore Frog in Meren, produces plenty of salt.

Children of Korlis - Same as above, not as good.

Deal Broker - This deck loves looting. Helps dig, and dumps reanimation targets

Smuggler's Copter - Same as above, but a bit more durable.

Claws of Gix - o cost artifact that doubles as a sac outlet.

Lieutenant Kirtar - Repeatable removal.

Null Brooch - Secret best spice in the deck. Allows you to hold up negates, while also dumping your hand, which is great.

Ranger of Eos - Tutors combo pieces/silver bullets. Can't be reanimated.

Recruiter of the Guard - Tutors combo pieces/ silver bullets. Can be reanimated.

Trading Post - Incredible value engine. A mite slow, but can dig and salvage combo pieces.

Theshar protection package: Mother of Runes, Darksteel Plate, Whitemane Lion, Stonecloaker

The deck can dig like crazy, combo out of nowhere, and is quite durable, withstanding most disruption. With an all-in plan like this, however; the one thing the deck struggles with is disrupting your opponents. Hopefully you can politic enough to survive long enough to win.

In conclusion, this list is incredibly fun to play, providing many different avenues towards victory. There's a lot of room for manipulation, to suite different metas. The deck can also be built relatively cheap.

Any criticism is welcome, and any advice is appreciated.
