Fiend Hunter + Cloudshift = Permanent Exile! Just respond the Fiend Hunter 's ETB Trigger while it's on the stack and cast a Cloudshift , which will resolve first. Then, before his ETB trigger can finally resolve, his "Leaves the Battlefield" ability triggers, and goes onto the stack, then resolves. Since there was no target successfully exiled, nothing can come back into play, and nothing happens. Finally the ETB trigger will resolve and you have now exiled 2 creatures. When Fiend Hunter ETBs again after Cloudshift resolves, the first exiled creature will never come back, however the second one can, unless you also cast another Cloudshift in succession.

Basically this makes Fiend Hunter MB worthy.
