Have been trying different setups for Simic flash post rotation... so far this cheap deck has gone well enough in testing and is fun to play. Most weak matchups are against fast red decks, also gruul. The good thing about the awakening of Vitu-Ghazi is that most opponents didn't see it coming, downside is that it hasn't trample. Another strong contender for Vitu-Ghazi´s slot is voracious hydra, only problem is that it hasn't flash, but has proven to be a difficult creature to deal with once on the battlefield. Sideboard will always depend on the meta near you, but in my case it's a lot of red and Esper.
So, the plan here is to basically stop your opponent from casting all the big threats, and when the path is clear start putting your own big guys on the board. the VG (Vitu-Ghazi) strategy is to put it on the battlefield and attack right away, but sometimes you can also do so on end of opponents turn and then on your turn smack some faces. Be sure to have a plan before casting VG, you can hold on to an unsummon so you can attack without any blockers, or in sideboard match Aether Gust.
Brineborn Cutthroat should get to play early so it can benefit of all the instants we are going to play during opponent's turn. The rest is pretty much straight forward, just don't let your opponent play anything relevant, gain all of the hate and salt possible and have fun! ;)
