It would be great if you could manage to untap the commander so you could use more than one instant a turn. That would speed it up. That and ramping to get it out before turn 4, but I’m not sure that’s reliable since your goal is to dump your whole deck into the grave. I think it’s as fast as it’s going to get.

That being said, I love the concept! Well done. +1

This is an intriguing deck. I would suggest some mill cards, like Traumatize . but I think that would only slow this down. Interesting deck, for sure.

I don’t quite understand. After you cast Kaho, you Mystical Tutor for Mana Severance , leaving just the Laboratory Maniac in library. Do you opt then to draw and the play the Lab Maniacand then hope it lives through a turn cycle w/out dying so you can win at your draw step? That seems pretty risky. Am I missing something?

Chandra585 So either cast Lab maniac and wait a turn if it's safe, or draw it as your last card, cast it then use opt to draw from your empty library

And thanks!!

This is so stupid, I like it.

To make it more efficient, you might drop in Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir - not only there will be no counters flying your way, but also you can flash him with labmaniac on your upkeep.

I feel like this deck is WAY too linear... If you were to play against any of my or any cEDH player's (which I am not a cEDH player) control deck this would fail altogether. Nothing is worse then having the win, playing it, and getting that winning feeling just to have someone say no with a Force of Will .

I'd say run some more counterspells that are like free to play for the most part like Force Of Will, Pact of Negation , Swan Song , Arcane Denial , Foil , etc.

I agree with DrkNinja, I am not a cEDH player but I guess any blue player will counter it and in a casual meta... well, it would be lol the 1st time but...

Firstly I will immediately say this, I know this isn't in any way shape or form a cEDH deck, this is a pure s**ts and giggles deck, so don't worry about running more counters and such, it's a deck that if it works, it works if it don't, better luck next time.

Secondly with the way the London Mulligan operates, you can now potentially go really aggressive and Mulligan for either Thassa's Oracle or Mana Severance into your starting hand and have a great opportunity to kick your combo into full gear quite regularly on turn 6.

Keep playing the Jank
