I love merfolk, and with Kumena at the helm of this deck, it seems pretty good.... There is a lot of tap synergy in the deck - once you get somewhat of a board state, this deck can get out of hand very fast. There is small opportunity for token creation, while the main focus of this deck is to abuse the tapping mechanic And suggestions would be appreciated **

Fallow sage allows you to just tap one merfolk and draw instead of 3... Herald of Secret Streams allows you to make your whole board unblockable... ALSO: any other merfolk that taps for effects (for example Surgespanner) will allow for lots of value...

GENERAL SYNERGIES Throne of the God-Pharaoh+Merrow Commerce = Tap your whole board for effects, deal damage for all, untap all of them... Wake Thrasher+Benefactor's Draught/Paradox Engine = Massive creature... Seedborn Muse/Quest for Renewal/Paradox Engine+Vedalken Orrery = Powerful combo where you get to take your turn in everyone else's turn minus the draw... Lullmage Mentor+Intruder Alarm = board lock down and no one can cast spells apart from you...
