Somehow i've managed with only17 lands... i think it's the Karoo dual lands + Aether Vial

If you get the Apocalypse reference kudos to you...

It beats referring to the deck as an Ulgris deck. Not dissing but people unaware of community sets probably won't know about ulgris...

I'm changing up the deck. not sure what to move to and from the maybeboard. Some ideas will need setting up before they can be viable in this deck... e.g. the deck still needs 4xBreeding Pool and fetch-lands before i can add in Utopia Sprawl for it to combo with Merrow Reejerey

I have a feeling Cosi's Trickster is'nt far from viable in the format due to all the fetch-lands

Not that merfolk are big in modern but Merfolk Assassin might have a place in the SB for the mirror match due to the interaction with Lord of Atlantis allowing me to kill off their lords

Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth and Spreading Algae is a combo i'm considering for the deck... it's flaky but it might be worth a try if i can get it to work

Obviously Descendants' Path isn't working the way i imagined but i'm considering Cream of the Crop either alongside or in it's place

And should i splash some actual black mana in the deck for useful non-phyrexian spells like Inquisition of Kozilek, Duress etc...?
