This deck is built around the fight mechanic
the best scenario is to pair Nightshade Peddler
with Predator Ooze
, and have the ooze fight opponent's creatures.
But even if I don't achieve that interaction, there are still a lot of other creatures who fight well. such as Viridian Emissary , Strangleroot Geist , Wolfir Avenger Garruk, the Veil-Cursed Flip , tokens and Vorapede
All suggestions are appreciated.
thank you for bringing that to my attention.
Viridian Shaman was an accident. I fully intended for that to be Viridian Emissary. I fixed that now.
Somberwald Sage is awesome, keep it in mind.
no Revenge of the Hunted ? your ooze can get muuuch bigger much faster.
Mono green you should run Dungrove Elder
I've cut 2 Wolfir Avenger and 1 Vorapede to include 3 Dungrove Elder
as for Revenge of the Hunted I've decided to put that in my side board. Most match-ups aren't going to have a large number of creatures sitting around waiting to block my guys, but against Lingering Souls/Intangible Virtue decks, Revenge of the Hunted on a Predator Ooze sounds like strong play, even when you hard cast it, so It fits well in the sideboard.
Maybe remove 1-2 of something for card:Green Sun's Zenith ? But really, I shouldn't be commenting because "The first rule of the Fight Deck: You do not comment on the Fight Deck"
I really like this deck! love the idea of swinging with the ooze to add a counter to him then before the declare blockers step activating the tracker to have your ooze kill a potential blocker and add another counter to the ooze.
your sideboard should be able to tweak your deck into a more beat-down aggro deck for control match-ups.
+1 from me
The first rule about Fight Deck is: You don't talk about Fight Deck.
+1
Heh, thanks Sam_I_am I actually forgot to. Fixed now.
In all seriousness I really like this deck. I had written off Ulvenwald Tracker as inefficient, but you really make it shine.
This looks like a great deck. The only thing I would suggest would be maybe removing a couple things (maybe a couple Llanowar Elves ) for 2 Rampant Growth s or card:Ranger's Paths. This would boost up the Dungrove Elder s and you don't have a ton of high drops for the elves to be super useful anyway.
I have noticed the +1 thing on many of my own decks, I find it funny.
Llanowar Elves powers out my 3 drops on turn 2, and 2 of them power out 5 drops on turn 3
Have you ever run this at fnm or battle tested it? Also where are your nightshade peddlers?
I started cutting Nightshade Peddler because they normally didn't seem to do too much for me.
I came in first place last FNM, and the FNM before that, I came in second
I like this deck! Way to go putting them all together. I might be stupid to suggest a Lumberknot for a late game monster and a Ring of Kalonia . +1 on this one!
Why not 4 dungrove elder?
i am very confused, everyone online says the deathtouch + fight works, but according to the rules
702.2b Any nonzero amount of combat damage assigned to a creature by a source with deathtouch is considered to be lethal damage, up to that creature's toughness. See rules 510.1c-d.
thus since they are not dealing combat damage the combo doesn't work, correct? If i am wrong i do apologize.

Lmao, I thought about it but never really saw how to put it together. This's just mean, and I like mean. The suggestions I would make is to replace the shaman with the standard version which is Viridian Corrupter
. To make this standard that is.
