Description

Will definitely swap the Prey Upon s with Ulvenwald Tracker s when I come across some.

Trying something new for ramp with a set of Axebane Guardian s. Probably won't stay in as they are not exactly aggressive: But it's worth a shot.

If you're going to have wild defiance in here you need more instants and sorceries to target your creatures otherwise it takes up 3 extra spots for better stuff. perhaps ramp up to craterhoof behemoth? Thragtusk, Predator Ooze, Soul of the Harvest, Somberwald Sage, Vorapede.

Why would anyone play Predatory Rampage over Revenge of the Hunted ?

Wild Defiance is a do nothing in this deck.

Your also missing Ulvenwald Tracker + Predator Ooze , their interaction is nuts.

Besides, why make rotation proof decks when new cards will most likely make it useless.

MagnaLynx21: Why, you ask? Well, as stated, I've made the deck with what I have. The reason I've not included the cards you mentioned is because I don't have them. Aside from that, they're definitely good suggestions, and cards I will look for when trading. I'm considering putting more instants and sorceries in there to make Wild Defiance more relevant, though I still think defiance has relevance with less spells given the fact that it essentially counters Searing Spear -type spells. But it's possible that I could cut one, and perhaps a few of the vipers.

Check out my post cycle deck that I'm working on, deck:green-with-pure-envy. That should give you some inspiration. But unfortunately I agree with the majority of the people that have commented on your deck. Where's Rancor , Predator Ooze and Ulvenwald Tracker ? Where's Champion of Lambholt ?

Correction on the Rancor , but do you understand me? Or rather, most of us?

bxromeo8586: Yes, I hear you - all of you - and I note and appreciate your suggestions and feedback. However, as I've stated both in the description and in a comment further up, I've made the deck with what I currently have - not what would be optimal for the deck if I had access to all the cards in the standard format. And I will continue updating it as I acquire new cards, like today when I added a second Garruk that I opened in a booster I won while drafting.

definitely look into more Champion of Lambholt when you get a chance. when using your champion, slap a couple of rancor on her and then drop a fungal sprouting and ....

Im also making a new green standard deck, and I like most of the choices. I'm not sure about some of your one-of choices, but I like the idea. I would say you need more somberwald sages if your going to ramp, and more thragtusk for life and power.

benzzer853 Indeed she does, but I won't need cards against infect after scars rotates, so I'll just replace her with more flier or graveyard hate I guess.
